A well-established company within the automotive industry are currently looking for a Workshop Manager to join their team. If you’re currently an Assistant Manager within the industry and looking for the next step, have experience running workshops and supervising Technicians, or already working as a Manager, and would like a new challenge, then this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a highly reputable company who offer clear opportunities for progression and various company perks!
Key Duties:
- Supervising workshop staff to ensure timely completion of all tasks
- Stock control; ensuring availability of parts required for repairs
- Coaching and mentoring new and existing team members
- Managing Front of House, maintaining high levels of customer service
- Ensure high standards are being adhered to at all times
- Ensure adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations
- Overseeing the recruitment process for the branch, interviewing and training new members
Required Skills:
- NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in the relevant disciplines
- Experience supervising/managing staff within the motor trade
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service
- Full UK Driving License
