We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Yard Operatives to join our team in Bristol. This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active and being part of a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and move vehicles around the site
- Position vehicles in designated areas
- Assist with daily vehicle movements
- Carry out basic vehicle checks
- Jump-start vehicles when required – full training provided
- Identify and report vehicle issues or defects
- Support other departments when required
- Help maintain an organised and efficient yard
- Follow site health & safety procedures
- Work efficiently and at pace
About You
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence – essential
- Confident and safe driver
- Comfortable driving different types of vehicles
- Previous yard, vehicle or logistics experience is desirable
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work at pace
- Good communication skills
- Strong team player
- Comfortable with a physically active role
Full training will be provided – previous yard experience is not essential.
