INTERIM SENIOR PEOPLE ADVISER - SIX MONTHS Our client, a high profile public sector body, is looking for an experienced Senior People Adviser to provide operational leadership across the People Services team during a period of organisational change.
The successful candidate will: Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the People Services team.
Support and coach new team members as they are recruited and onboarded.
Manage payroll administration and associated HR processes.
Handle complex employee and manager queries, escalating where appropriate.
Review and issue maternity, paternity and shared parental leave correspondence, ensuring statutory and contractual entitlements are accurate.
Support the People Services Manager by maintaining BAU operations while they lead a payroll implementation project.
Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Assist in defining the responsibilities and requirements of the future permanent Senior Adviser role.
Support the presentation of findings and action plan from the organisation's Gender Pay Gap report once it has been issued by external consultants.
