A well-known professional membership body is looking to recruit an HR Systems Manager to ensure the delivery of the HR systems services are effective and accessible, and overseeing the full development and maintenance of the department’s HR and payroll system.

Key responsibilities of the HR Systems Manager:

  • Advise on the continuous optimisation of HR administrative processes, ensuring close integration with HR systems.
  • Act as primary contact for HR system enquiries and related projects and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of effective relationships between system and service providers, providing advice and recommendations on further system development and integration in line with industry innovations.
  • Work closely with Analytics Team to generate insights for use in strategic decision-making.
  • Lead on database administration and the functional configuration of the HR and payroll system.
  • Undertake other HR Team responsibilities, as required.

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in developing HR and payroll systems - iTrent especially - including advanced technical knowledge.
  • HR generalist knowledge and experience, particularly relating to employment policy and recruitment principles.
  • Demonstrable database management knowledge and experience, including hands-on understanding of data protection legislation.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Understanding of project management methodology, ideally with training/qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience in providing system training.
  • Ability to prioritise a heavy workload.

Salary and benefits:

  • £29.00 per hour
  • Full-time, temporary role due to start ASAP and lasting until end of August initially, with potential to extend into a fixed-term contract.
  • Based in Central London office with provision to work remotely for part of the week.
