Excel Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver for a permanent, full-time position with our established client in Belfast.

Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Ensure full compliance with Driver's Hours, tachograph and transport legislation.
- Check that all loads are properly secured before setting off.
- Complete deliveries safely, efficiently and within agreed delivery times.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any problems or delays.
- Follow customer site rules and all health & safety procedures.
- Always maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.
Requirements
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum of 2 year's HGV driving experience.
- Previous experience driving articulated vehicles within a distribution or logistics environment.
- Good understanding of Driver's Hours, tachograph requirements and transport legislation.
- Good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network is highly beneficial.
- Good standard of spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and follow planned routes.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach to driving.
