Our client, a well-established and growing logistics business, is seeking to appoint an experienced and commercially focused Head of Operations / General Manager to run their business in Northern Ireland.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, strategic direction, and team leadership within a fast-paced transport & logistics environment.
- Oversee fleet performance and resource planning to maximise utilisation and fulfilment.
- Identify opportunities to improve KPIs and drive continuous operational improvements across the business.
- Collaborate closely with transport, warehousing, operations, and customer service teams to evolve service offerings.
- Ensure full compliance with all operational, quality, and audit requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics, including labour costs, service levels, and operational KPIs.
- Drive efficiency in financial controls.
- Lead regular operational reviews and planning sessions to optimise performance and cost effectiveness.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost control and service excellence.
