  • Ballymena
  • West Belfast
  • Carrickfergus
  • Dungannon

The Client: This leading pharmacy group has experienced remarkable growth over the years. With 52 high-volume retail pharmacies strategically located in some of the most socially deprived areas, the company is dedicated to making a positive impact on local communities. Employing over 700 staff, including 100 pharmacists, it offers a dynamic and supportive work environment. The head office serves as the central hub for operations, while the distribution centre is equipped with over 60,000 sq ft of warehousing, ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain management.

The Job: The Pharmacy Manager will:

  • Ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing on delivering excellent service to customers while maximising dispensing, private services, over-the-counter sales, and overall profitability.
  • Play a key part in making sure the team complies with all professional and legal requirements, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Have the opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services, such as Flu and Covid vaccinations, with full training provided to support you in delivering these vital services to the community.

The Person:

  • Professional Qualification: Must be a qualified pharmacist registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
  • Up-to-Date Knowledge: Stay ahead with the latest developments and changes in pharmacy practice.
  • Essential Training: Completion of required NICPLD/HSCB courses, including compulsory components for service delivery (e.g., PMR).
