Teaching Assistant Level 2 York High School is seeking two Teaching Assistants to join their Inclusion Team, supporting students with special educational needs. This is an opportunity for skilled individuals to work in key posts that contribute directly to the care of young people at York High School. You will support teaching and learning by working with individual or small groups of students, helping young people achieve their potential and supporting independent learning and inclusion. Responsibilities Support teaching and learning by working with individual or small groups of students. Assist with classroom activities and independent learning tasks. Help young people achieve their potential and support inclusion. Qualifications GCSE English and maths qualifications at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications. Experience working with children or young people. Good communication skills and the ability to build appropriate relationships with staff, students and families. A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable; further qualifications are desirable.
