About the Role:
- 36.75 hours per week – 3 x 12.25-hour shifts.
- Pay is negotiated from Real Living Wage upwards, depending on relevant experience.
The Housing Officer is responsible for upholding accommodation standards, managing property tasks, following health and safety rules, and handling duties related to building occupancy. The role ensures the building stays safe, secure and clean while creating a positive environment for residents, staff and visitors, and delivers high-quality accommodation-based service to clients with complex needs.
Working closely with managers and various teams, you will manage potential risks, maintain the property at a high level of quality, and ensure health and safety standards are met. The successful applicant must be organized, flexible, resilient, and able to handle all situations arising from the nature of our clients, including potential unauthorised visitors. Innovative, assertive, empathetic individuals with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. You will work in partnership with statutory agencies to reduce the risks for the women in our care.
