Our client has secured a prestigious new site in the Pimlico area and is seeking a professional, multi-skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to be based full time on this site. We are looking for a Lead Engineer to build and nurture the relationship with the client and ensure all works are carried out in a professional and timely manner. This role will evolve and the opportunity for progression will be available as the team on site grows.
The position is a site-based role where the successful candidate will be undertaking maintenance works such as electrical PPM's including lighting, emergency lighting testing/remedials and any other electrical maintenance along with mechanical and HVAC maintenance.
Our client is a family business with healthy client retention and excellent service levels, specialising in technical facilities services mostly with high end apartment blocks (communal areas only) and offices across Surrey and London. Operating a team of both site based and mobile engineers, the business has secured multiple new contracts and is expanding the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on electrical/mechanical services and maintenance/facilities contracts previously with a good knowledge of electrical maintenance and compliance along with plantroom maintenance/pipework/HVAC service and maintenance. HVAC/mechanical/electrical and building services knowledge would be advantageous. Experience and knowledge of PPM's and site compliance is essential.
Our client is looking for someone who seeks a long term opportunity; additional training would be offered to the right person. Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role previously and on contracts of a similar nature would be advantageous. This site is high end so requires someone with a professional approach, smart & well presented with excellent time keeping.
