Our client has secured a prestigious new site in the Pimlico area and is seeking a professional, multi-skilled Engineer to be based full time on this site. We are looking for a Lead Multi-skilled Engineer to nurture the relationship with the client and ensure all works are carried out in a professional and timely manner. The site is newly refurbished and as other areas open up we will look to recruit a team beneath you.
The position is a site-based role where the successful candidate will be undertaking maintenance works such as mechanical and HVAC maintenance along with electrical PPMs including lighting, emergency lighting testing/fire alarm testing and so on. Electrical knowledge is not essential as our client has a team of mobile electrical engineers who can cover this part of the site whilst we look to recruit a 2nd man after this particular vacancy is filled. This is a brand new 5-year contract. No on call, 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.

Operating a team of both site-based and mobile engineers, the business has secured multiple new contracts and is expanding the team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on mechanical services and maintenance/facilities contracts previously with plantroom maintenance/pipework/HVAC service and maintenance experience. HVAC/mechanical/electrical and building services knowledge would be advantageous. Experience and knowledge of PPMs and site compliance is required. Our client is looking for someone who seeks a long-term opportunity; additional training would be offered to the right person if required. Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role previously and on contracts of a similar nature would be advantageous. This site is high-end, so it requires someone with a professional approach, smart & well presented with excellent communication skills.
