We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor/Admin to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring, administrative tasks, and experience working with children in an educational setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to create engaging learning experiences, and a strong understanding of child-centred educational practices. In addition, the successful candidate must possess strong computer skills and be comfortable using various digital tools and platforms to support both teaching and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tutoring support to students in various subjects
- Create and implement engaging and effective learning plans
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and parent communication
- Support classroom management and student supervision
- Utilize computer systems for documentation, lesson planning, and communication
Requirements:
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching children
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in using computers and digital learning tools

Working Hours:
The position requires availability Monday through Saturday, with specific hours and days to be determined based on the terms of the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Tutor children aged 5 to 16 in small groups of 4–6 students, focusing on English, Maths, or Science.
- Provide academic support across various subjects, ensuring lessons are engaging and age-appropriate
- Develop and implement customised lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and academic needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support understanding and retention
- Assist students with homework, school projects, and exam preparation as needed
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and management regarding academic progress and areas for improvement
- Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, record keeping, and parent correspondence
- Support classroom management and help maintain a safe, focused learning environment
- Use computer systems and digital tools for lesson planning, documentation, and communication
Requirements:
- Degree 2.1 or above
- Exceptional GCSE and A-Level results
- Ability to educate students in a way that is both informative and enjoyable.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically.
- A relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
- Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
- DBS checks and two references will be taken
