  • Take full responsibility in maintaining of the stock control in the warehouse.
  • To oversee, manage and motivate the warehouse staff with their respective duties.
  • To liaise with courier companies regarding the timeous collection of parcels.
  • Implementation of effective logistical processes.
  • Manage the Micro Assembly team to ensure effective and productive production.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are in place and proper housekeeping is maintained.
  • Ensure vehicle fleet is managed up to standard

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • A formal tertiary logistics / warehousing qualification.
  • Proven track record of managing a staff complement of 20 or more staff members.
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the Agricultural Mechanization Industry will be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years’ warehousing experience and warehouse management systems.
  • Be computer literate in MS Office, email and Syspro.
  • A technical background preferably on Agricultural machinery and Spares.
  • An aptitude towards customer liaison and problem solving.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Self-discipline to work without supervision.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
