Job Description:

Able to perform the full accounting function.

  1. Maintain forex transactions including the tracking of payments, deliveries and clearing documentation.
  2. Reconciliation of foreign supplier accounts.
  3. Reconcile, maintain and submission of the Waste Management levy (EPR) in conjunction with the senior credit controller.
  4. Cash book processing and bank reconciliations.
  5. Review of wages.
  6. Reconcile general ledger control accounts – problem solving.
  7. Payments – creditors and cash.
  8. General admin duties associated with the position.
  9. Assistance with the preparation of annual audit.
  10. Adhere to all deadlines set by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Commerce degree/diploma in Financial Accounting/Bookkeeping.
  2. SAIPA/SAICA articles complete or 4-5 years’ working experience as a bookkeeper, if no articles.
  3. Syspro experience advantageous.
  4. MS Office Suite.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong administrative skills.
  7. Good communication skills.
  8. Good time management skills.
  9. Friendly yet assertive personality.
  10. Ability to work under pressure.
  11. Attention to detail with a flair for accuracy.
