Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local, national, and international transport for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Obtain freight quotations for road, sea, and air shipments, ensuring cost‑effective transport solutions.
  • Plan and manage delivery schedules in collaboration with sales, warehouse, and branch teams.
  • Liaise with transport providers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure on‑time deliveries.
  • Process transport‑related insurance claims, interbranch transfers, and transport documentation.
  • Maintain transport databases, shipment records, and proof of delivery (POD) documentation.
  • Assist with export shipping logistics and continuously identify opportunities to improve transport processes.

Qualifications

  • Matric with Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics or transport coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of transport, shipping, and logistics processes.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft 365 and ERP systems (SYSPRO or similar).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
