Job Description
- Process debtor receipts and monitor outstanding customer accounts.
- Follow up on overdue payments and provide debtor reports to management.
- Capture supplier invoices, perform creditor reconciliations, and process supplier payments.
- Process cashbook transactions, including sundry payments and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve account queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Provide general bookkeeping and financial administration support as required.
Qualifications
- Matric with an Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
- Previous experience in a junior bookkeeping or finance administration role will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with an ERP system (Syspro experience will be advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
