An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Platform Security Engineer to join a high-profile Central Government AI programme, supporting the security, resilience and ongoing enhancement of a cloud-based platform. Working within an agile delivery team, you will help strengthen the security posture of the platform while improving deployment processes, infrastructure automation and operational visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance the security and resilience of Azure-hosted platforms.
- Improve infrastructure configuration and platform hardening.
- Support the implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Increase platform observability, monitoring and operational performance.
- Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to embed security best practice throughout the development lifecycle.
Essential experience
- Strong DevOps or Platform Engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure PostgreSQL, Storage Accounts (Blob Storage) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
