We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Operations Officer to support the smooth and effective running of our academy. This is a pivotal role requiring exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and a commitment to delivering high-quality support in a busy and dynamic environment. You will work closely with the Heads of Centre/Headteacher, staff, families, external professionals and Trust colleagues to coordinate operational processes, maintain compliance, manage information and communications, and ensure that the academy runs efficiently for the benefit of our young people. Working in an Alternative Provision setting is unlike any other educational environment. Our pupils often arrive with complex needs and varied experiences, and every day presents new opportunities to help remove barriers to learning and support positive outcomes. It is challenging, fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable, but it is also incredibly rewarding. Few roles offer the opportunity to see such meaningful progress, whether that's a pupil re-engaging with education, achieving qualifications, improving attendance or developing the confidence to take their next steps in life. We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied role, enjoys solving problems and can bring calm organisation to a complex environment. You will be resilient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Exceed Academies Trust strives to be an employer of choice. We are an inclusive and diverse multi academy trust and ultimately, our aim is to employ a workforce that reflects the communities it serves. We are committed to achieving a balanced workforce at all levels, whilst ensuring that no individual is disadvantaged or treated less favourably. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, faiths and ethnicities and will ensure a fair recruitment process without discrimination, in compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
