The successful candidate will provide full technician support within the Art and Design Technology Faculty, particularly in food and textiles, by preparing and maintaining resources, setting up equipment, and ensuring a safe, organised environment for practical teaching and learning. The role will involve working under the guidance of teaching staff to support lessons, assist with the supervision of pupils, trainees and volunteers during practical activities, and contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the department. Responsibilities will also include carrying out health and safety checks and risk assessments, maintaining equipment and stock, and advising staff on safe working practices. The role requires using initiative within established procedures to respond to day-to-day challenges, supporting the school's ethos, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of safety, organisation, and student support.
Responsibilities
