We are currently supporting a well-known family-run venue in the Essex countryside with temporary kitchen support as they head into a busy period. We are looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to step in and support their team on a temporary, full-time basis across the coming weeks. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, casual food environment - think freshly prepared, seasonal dishes, and lots of smiling customers.

Location: CM22 (Own transport required due to location)

Pay: £15/hour

Schedule: Daytime hours, full-time rota, must be available to work weekends and bank holidays

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and cooking fresh, café-style dishes to a high standard
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards at all times
  • Supporting the wider team during busy periods (especially weekends)
  • Keeping calm and organised during service
  • Helping maintain 5-star cleanliness and allergen practices

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous kitchen experience in a busy café, restaurant, or event-style venue
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification
