We are looking to appoint an Assistant Librarian to work 10 hours per week, term time only on a permanent contract. Hours of working will be 10.30am – 4.00pm Mondays and Tuesdays. Must be able to work on own initiative and have experience of working with children in a similar setting.

Our library is a well‑resourced hub of activity where students are encouraged to develop a love and appreciation for reading. The role involves assisting with the development, managing and organisation of the Library to ensure provision of resources and information to staff and students. The successful candidate will be flexible, have excellent organisational skills and enjoy working in a team.

Salary is based on NJC pay points 9 – 11, full‑time equivalent of £27,254 – £28,142. Actual salary for working 10 hours per week (5 hours per day, inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch break), term time only plus 2 Inset Days is £6,270 – £6,475 per annum.
