St John's Marlborough is a high performing academy and a key member of the highly effective Excalibur Academies Trust. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage Leader of Maths to join a high achieving, supportive faculty. We are looking for a candidate to work with the Head of Mathematics to lead the development and delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum at the relevant key stage that is exciting, creative, and diverse. The successful candidate will be a passionate practitioner who is confident teaching across the ability range. They will have a keen interest in the latest research and theory around the teaching of mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Leading appropriate curricular development to ensure that it is engaging and current.
- Leading the review and development of schemes of work to fit the Key Stage specification, working alongside teaching staff and supporting the team to deliver high standards of teaching.
- Leading, along with others, evaluating and further developing teaching and learning and the materials available in the department, in consultation with colleagues.
