At ExamWorks , we offer a unique opportunity to step into a Functional Assessor role , supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
You’ll use your clinical knowledge to assess how health conditions and disabilities impact daily life - making a real difference to people’s access to support.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone or video assessments
- Understanding how physical, mental, cognitive or sensory conditions affect daily living
- Analysing medical evidence and clinical information
- Producing 2 high-quality reports per day
- Working in a hybrid model (home + local assessment centre)

What you’ll need
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Confidence using IT systems and reports
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
