About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in driving strategic change across the organisation. Operating at a senior level, you will work closely with leadership teams to shape and deliver business initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology, and operational capabilities. As a big-picture thinker, you will translate complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. You will also act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for the Business Analysis function both internally and externally, contributing to the continuous evolution of our Transformation & Change capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Delivery & Business Analysis
    • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver strategic initiatives
    • Lead business analysis activities across large-scale projects and programmes
    • Define and document business requirements, process flows, and system interactions
    • Conduct impact assessments across people, processes, and technology
    • Challenge assumptions and influence decision-making to drive innovation and improvement
    • Support business case development with clear analysis of benefits, costs, and risks
    • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to gather and validate requirements
    • Bridge the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions are aligned and feasible
    • Use data and insights to guide decision-making and measure success
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders from operational level to senior leadership
    • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing and gaining buy-in for change initiatives
    • Work closely with Product Owners and Delivery teams to prioritise and shape requirements
    • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to expected outcomes
  • Practice Development
    • Champion Business Analysis best practices, frameworks, and methodologies
    • Drive consistency in process and requirements documentation
    • Mentor and support colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing across the function
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry trends
    • Foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture within the BA practice
  • Leadership & Quality Assurance
    • Provide leadership and strategic direction for business analysis activities
    • Inspire and motivate teams through strong role modelling and engagement
    • Ensure high-quality standards in requirements gathering and solution validation
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews and measure success through KPIs and metrics
    • Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement

About You

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in Business Analysis, including senior-level responsibility
  • Strong track record delivering complex, high-impact change initiatives
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Deep understanding of BA frameworks (e.g. BABOK, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) or process improvement qualification
  • Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience in digital transformation and operating model design
