We’re hiring registered healthcare professionals in Lewes to join a growing team as Functional Assessors - a role where you’ll use your clinical expertise in a structured, non-treatment environment.

Minimum 12 months’ recent UK post-qualification experience

The role – What you’ll be doing
You’ll carry out functional assessments for individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA)
- Conduct face-to-face and remote assessments in the Milton Keynes area
- Assess individuals with physical and mental health conditions
- Apply your clinical knowledge + medical evidence to each case
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports
- Help determine how conditions impact daily living
No treatments. No ward work. No emergencies.

What you’ll need
- Strong clinical knowledge (physical + mental health)
- Good IT skills (report writing is ~50% of role)
- Ability to commute to Lewes site 2 days per week
- Confident communication and decision-making skills
Training & support
- 12-week structured training programme
- Must commit to full-time training (first 6 weeks without leave)
- Ongoing CPD + revalidation support
