For sales professionals who don’t just hit targets, they shape markets.
This is not a volume sales role. This is not a junior BD position dressed up with a title. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to represent a portfolio of market leading brands in the medical legal and rehabilitation sector. You will operate as a trusted commercial partner to some of our most important customers, while also driving new business growth in a competitive, regulated market. You’ll be given autonomy, responsibility, and visibility, and you’ll be measured on results. If you are motivated by credibility, commercial challenge, and building sustainable revenue rather than quick wins, this role will suit you.

- Own and develop a portfolio of material customer accounts, balancing retention, growth, and expansion
- Identify and deliver cross sell and upsell opportunities across the Group’s services
- Maintain strong control of commercial terms, margins, and contract compliance
- Lead regular customer engagement through face to face meetings, calls, and strategic reviews
- Handle complex, sometimes challenging commercial conversations with confidence and authority
- Proactively generate new opportunities through market intelligence, CRM insight, networking, and direct prospecting
- Lead the full end to end sales process from initial conversation to proposal, negotiation, close, and onboarding
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to stakeholders at all levels
- Accurately forecast pipelines, volumes, and delivery expectations
- Act as a visible ambassador for the business at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Provide detailed market insight and feedback, helping shape pricing, product development, and strategic initiatives
- Support group wide projects such as customer enhancement, pricing strategy, and fee recoverability
What “Good” Looks Like in This Role
- Existing accounts grow year on year not by chance, but by design.
- New business is won within agreed commercial parameters.
- Customers trust you, respect you, and listen to you.
- Internal teams value your judgement, preparation, and commercial discipline.
- You know your numbers, your contracts, and your pipeline at all times.

Experience (Desirable)
- Knowledge of legal, insurance, or outsourced service environments.

Why Join Us?

- High impact role with autonomy and influence.
- A business that values commercial discipline, professionalism, and long term relationships.
- Clear expectations, clear targets, and the opportunity to genuinely stand out.
