Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor who enjoys building trusted relationships, managing meaningful casework, and working with the flexibility of a fully remote role? We're looking for a confident and approachable OHA to join our established Occupational Health team, delivering a high-quality, end to end OH service to clients across the UK — all from home.
You'll be supported by a collaborative and experienced team, including the Head of OH Operations and Senior/Lead OHAs, while still having the autonomy to manage your own workload and make professional, evidence based decisions.
What the role looks like day to day
- Managing a remote caseload, including sickness absence, fitness for work and rehabilitation cases
- Undertaking pre-placement and pre-employment health assessments
- Providing clear, practical Occupational Health advice to HR and line managers
- Supporting employees with work-related health concerns in a professional and compassionate way
- Working closely with other OH services, including Technicians, OHPs, counselling and physiotherapy providers
What you'll bring
We're keen to hear from Occupational Health Advisors who are confident, organised and comfortable working remotely. You'll need:
- Current NMC registration
- At least 2 years' experience in Occupational Health
- Experience managing complex OH casework
- Strong report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and well reasoned advice
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital OH systems
- Up to date knowledge of OH legislation, best practice and professional standards
Ideally, you'll also have:
- A post registration qualification in Occupational Health (Diploma or Degree)
