Head of Business Development.

Location: England – Home and Field based.

Salary Β£55,000 upwards with an uncapped OTE on sales made. (Salary negotiable upon experience, within the insurance and legal market)

Car allowance of an additional Β£5000 paid annually.

Hours: Flexible across 37.5 hours on weekdays.

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales professional, someone who is skilled in the Insurance, Motor claims OR legal expenses sector.

As a Head of Business Development Manager, with vast experience in motor claims and the insurance industry, you will be accountable for building new business across our clients motor claims department.

You will need to thrive in a fast-paced role, opening and closing new business deals and opportunities daily. Using sales techniques, sales tools and negotiation skills regularly.

Attending conference events, face-to-face and online networking events, representing your employer to the highest standard. Are you looking for a new challenge, within an established and reputable business – where you can showcase your knowledge and skills and be rewarded for your hard work?

Who we are looking for.

A self-starter, someone who is target driven and money hungry

This role offers an uncapped commission based on sales made on new business leads.

Are you someone who earns credibility easily, with excellent presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills and the initiative to build your own client portfolio? Does making strong and lasting connections in the insurance and legal sector come naturally to you, with a flair for closing deals

Have you got a strong attention to detail and a logical and analytical perception of sales reporting and insurance market trends.

Essential qualifications/experience.

  • Existing sales experience in new business in the Insurance claims OR legal sector.
  • Strong understanding in either Before or After the event insurance products.
  • Proven sales ability – KPI driven.
  • An understanding of FCA regulations and consumer requirements.
  • Understanding of Brokerage and insurance catalogue of products.
  • Strong understanding into the FCA and insurance regulations market.
  • IF2 – General Insurance Business

Desirable or willing to work towards…

  • IF3 – Insurance Underwriting Process (15 credits)
  • IF4 – Insurance Claims Handling Process
