What You’ll Be Doing
Lead & Inspire
- Take charge of the home in the absence of senior management
- Make strong, child centred decisions aligned with best practice
- Model professionalism, empathy, and resilience every day
- Support staff in assessments, planning, and key working
- Ensure all records and plans are accurate and meaningful
- Demonstrate exemplary direct work with young people
Safeguard & Advocate
- Attend reviews and multi agency meetings as a key professional
- Ensure every child’s voice is central to their care and planning
Strengthen the Team
- Oversee daily admin and support colleagues in their responsibilities
- Promote consistency, positive culture, and high practice standards
- Encourage continuous improvement through effective communication
General Duties
- Transport young people to school, activities, and appointments
- Complete sleep-ins in line with the rota
- Carry out reasonable tasks requested by management to support smooth running of the home
