We are seeking a Female Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client in her home in Bexhill. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills while providing high-quality, person‑centred care that has a genuine impact on someone's daily life.

About the Role

You will provide one-to-one support to a female client with complex care needs, delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care as part of a consistent and supportive team.

Clinical responsibilities include:
  • Ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Tracheostomy suctioning
  • Nebuliser treatment
  • Cough assist
  • Oxygen therapy
  • SpO2 monitoring
  • Moving and handling
  • Epilepsy management and monitoring
  • Enteral feeding (PEG and jejunal feeding)
  • Administration of medication via PEG
  • Supporting communication needs, including non-verbal communication methods

This is a long‑term package of care, offering consistency and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both the client and their family.

Training and Development

A comprehensive training programme is provided, including:

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have at least 12 months' care experience
  • Hold full right to work in the UK
  • Be able to drive a manual van
  • Be a driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable, professional, and compassionate
  • Be confident using basic IT systems
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding
  • Be able to identify and respond to changes in physical or emotional wellbeing
  • Be comfortable working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
