Functional Assessor role , supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
You’ll use your clinical knowledge to assess how health conditions and disabilities impact daily life — making a real difference to people’s access to support.
- What you’ll be doing
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone or video assessments
- Understanding how physical, mental, cognitive or sensory conditions affect daily living
- Analysing medical evidence and clinical information
- Producing
- 2 high-quality reports per day
- Working in a hybrid model
- (home + local assessment centre)

- Valid
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Minimum
- 1 year post-qualification experience
