Hours: Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am–8:00pm, plus contingency shifts

We are seeking a Female Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client in her home in Bexhill. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills while providing high-quality, person‑centred care that has a genuine impact on someone's daily life. Full training is provided, making this a fantastic opportunity for carers looking to expand their experience within complex care.
About the Role
You will provide one-to-one support to a female client with complex care needs, delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care as part of a consistent and supportive team. Clinical responsibilities include:
- Ventilation via tracheostomy
- Tracheostomy care
- Tracheostomy suctioning
- Nebuliser treatment
- Cough assist
- Oxygen therapy
- SpO2 monitoring
- Moving and handling
- Epilepsy management and monitoring
- Enteral feeding (PEG and jejunal feeding)
- Administration of medication via PEG
- Supporting communication needs, including non-verbal communication methods
This is a long‑term package of care, offering consistency and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both the client and their family.
Training and Development
A comprehensive training programme is provided, including:
- Online learning modules
- Face‑to‑face clinical training
- Shadow shifts
- Competency assessments
- Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have at least 12 months' care experience
- Hold full right to work in the UK
- Be able to drive a manual van
- Be a driver with access to your own vehicle
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Be confident using basic IT systems
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding
- Be able to identify and respond to changes in physical or emotional wellbeing
- Be comfortable working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
