Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and forward-thinking team, delivering a comprehensive Occupational Health service to a valued client in Newton Aycliffe. Working closely with our Head of OH Operations and Senior OHAs, you’ll play a key role in supporting employee health and wellbeing, offering expert clinical advice, and helping to shape a proactive and responsive OH service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing on-site OH services 3 days per week, including case management, pre-placement assessments, and health surveillance.
- Carrying out workplace visits to assess risks and advise on reasonable adjustments, phased returns, and rehabilitation plans.
- Supporting the coordination of wider OH services such as physiotherapy, counselling, and Occupational Health Physician input.
- Building strong working relationships with HR, line managers, and employees to promote a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Ensuring all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and in line with NMC and OH best practice standards.
What We’re Looking For
- NMC Registered Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience in Occupational Health.
- Confident in managing complex cases and providing clear, evidence-based advice.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality, concise reports.
- Ideally, a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health (Diploma or Degree).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
