About the Role
Pure Physiotherapy are looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Clinic Receptionist / Administrator to join our team. This is a dual-function role combining front‑of‑house reception responsibilities with administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our clinic. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience while supporting clinical teams and operational processes through high‑quality administration.
Purpose of the Role
This role is designed to provide a welcoming, courteous and professional experience for all patients and visitors, alongside delivering essential administrative support across patient pathways, referrer communications and clinic operations. You will be responsible for managing appointments, patient and referrer enquiries, maintaining a high standard of reception presentation, and supporting clinicians with a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional and welcoming experience to patients, visitors and clients
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception environment
- Manage walk‑in enquiries and provide appropriate support
- Process payments for private services in line with company procedures
- Support daily operations, including opening and closing the clinic
- Manage shared email inboxes, responding to and directing enquiries efficiently
- Process new patient referrals and initiate first contact
- Book, amend and cancel appointments, including managing rescheduling lists
- Prepare and send discharge letters, reports and other communications
- Support clinical staff with administrative queries
- Handle high volumes of incoming and outgoing calls
