We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Occupational Health Administrator to join our team in Houghton-le-Spring. This is a fully office-based position that combines administration and front-of-house reception duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and people-focused role. You will play a key role in managing Occupational Health cases, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service, and ensuring an excellent experience for employees, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress Occupational Health cases in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Action all allocated tasks and respond to customer enquiries received via post, email, and telephone.
- Liaise regularly with all parties involved in Occupational Health cases.
- Handle both internal and external enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and update database systems.
- Provide reception and front-of-house support, welcoming visitors and ensuring a professional environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in administration, customer service, or reception.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Previous experience within an Occupational Health or clinical environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical terminology would be advantageous.
