About the Role
You will be supporting an individual with complex health needs, including:
- Neurodegenerative disease
- Seizure disorder (ranging from absence to tonic-clonic seizures)
- Psychosis with visual hallucinations
This role requires a calm, confident, and compassionate approach, with the ability to support a client who is non-verbal.
Day shifts: 8am–8pm, 8am–4pm
Night Shifts: 1:1 from 8pm–8am
Key Requirements
- Solid background in complex care
- Experience supporting non-verbal clients/service users
- Comfortable working in a home with a large elderly dog
Preferred (but not essential):
- Driving licence
- Medical background (e.g. overseas doctor or nurse)
- Community or complex-care experience (rather than primarily care home-based)
Please note: Non-drivers will be considered if you live within 1 hour of the placement via public transport.
£14.00 per hour (days)
£15.00 per hour (nights) +12.07% holiday pay (available upon weekly request)
