- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989, Adoption and Children Act 2002, and related legislation.
- Advanced member of the Law Society's Family Law Accreditation Scheme (having passed the 'violence in the home' module or previously held adult party representative status on the Children Panel) or is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Domestic Abuse.
- Skills: Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Attributes: Empathetic, resilient, and able to manage sensitive and emotionally challenging cases.
