Shifts: Part-time, Wednesdays 2.30pm-7.15pm and alternate Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm (with 30 minutes lunch break)
About the Role
Central Health Physiotherapy are looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our clinic, delivering an efficient, professional and patient-focused service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception and maintain a tidy, professional, and accessible reception area
- Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally
- Book patients into physiotherapy appointments, classes, and services
- Process payments and update patient records (including insurance details)
- Bank cash and cheques regularly and manage petty cash in collaboration with Accounts
- Provide general secretarial support to clinical staff
- Issue patient surveys following initial appointments
- Contact referrals in line with company policy
