We are currently looking for freelance interpreters in and around the Kent area to join our newly established and fast-growing panel.

Role Overview
As an ELS-registered interpreter, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between professionals and clients who do not share a common language. You will interpret dialogue in real time, ensuring meaning, tone, and intent are faithfully conveyed. Assignments will take place across various settings where precision, confidentiality, and impartiality are essential.

Experience and Qualifications
We prioritise applications from interpreters who hold relevant qualifications and experience. Those with certifications such as DPSI, DPI, Community Interpreting, or academic degrees in languages (BA, MA, PhD), will be given greater visibility and access to a broader range of opportunities with ELS.
We also recognise the need for flexibility in rare or underrepresented languages and regions. We are committed to supporting linguists who wish to develop their careers in interpreting.
