We’re looking for two dedicated Complex Care Assistants to support two inspiring 22-year-old wheelchair users (one male, one female) living with Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia in their family home in Aylesbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on complex care, meaningful support, and being an active, valued part of a close-knit support team.
About The Clients
- Aged 22 – young, social, and responsive to positive, chatty support.
- Wheelchair users.
- Non-verbal.
- Diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia.
- Enjoy engaging interaction, inclusion, and carers who bring good energy.
- Family‑led environment with dogs in the home.
- Home includes a waist‑deep hydrotherapy pool.
Care Duties Include
- PEG feeding.
- Medication administration.
- Oxygen administration.
- Manual handling.
- Personal care.
- Bowel movement management.
- Hydrotherapy support.
Essential Requirements
- Full right to work in the UK.
- A minimum of 12 months recent UK care experience (Complex Care preferred).
- PEG feeding and medication experience (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential, due to remote location).
- Confident in water to support hydro‑therapy pool activities.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to start the position on 1st June 2026.
