We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Quality Assurance Manager to support the delivery of high quality clinical services within our Assessment Centres. Working closely with the Regional Clinical Quality Assurance Manager, Assessment Centre Manager and wider operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive clinical quality and performance, supporting the achievement of quality, productivity and TPL targets
- Provide coaching, mentorship and clinical oversight to new and experienced Health Professionals
- Ensure high quality, evidence-based clinical reporting in line with DWP, Prime and Clinical Governance requirements
- Support recruitment, training and sign‑off processes for Health Professionals
- Review and improve processes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain clinical competency through face‑to‑face, telephone and virtual assessments
- Lead on CPD, CME and professional development activities
- Analyse performance data to drive service improvements
- Act as a key clinical point of contact, escalating issues appropriately
- Contribute to succession planning, MI accuracy and reporting
- Promote FIRST values and a collaborative culture
About You
- Strong knowledge of FAS processes and clinical governance
- Minimum 2 years post‑registration and 2 years PIP assessment experience
- Fully registered with the relevant professional body
- Experienced in clinical leadership, coaching and stakeholder management
- Confident using Microsoft Office and management information
- Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills
- Proactive, supportive and quality‑driven leadership style
