About the Role
We are looking for an inspirational and results-driven Team Manager to lead, motivate and develop a high performing operational team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, driving performance and creating a positive, engaged workplace culture. You will play a key role in developing your team, improving operational efficiency and ensuring service excellence across all areas of responsibility.
As a Team Manager, you will lead by example, champion continuous improvement and support the delivery of key business objectives through effective people management, coaching and performance leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service and achieve operational targets.
- Manage team workloads and resources to meet internal and external service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor productivity, quality and performance against KPIs.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to team members and future leaders.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, appraisals and team meetings.
- Create and maintain personal development plans and SMART objectives for all direct reports.
- Manage attendance, absence and wellbeing in line with company policies.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, accountability and success.
Operational Excellence
- Drive service improvements through process reviews, innovation and best practice sharing.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Conduct quality audits, observations and coaching sessions to improve service delivery.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales, Training and HR.
- Support strategic transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Help identify and implement efficiencies to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Customer & Service Focus
- Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and customer service are consistently achieved.
- Investigate root causes of complaints and support preventative solutions.
- Develop team knowledge and capability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Support the successful onboarding of new customers and operational requirements.

- Previous experience managing and developing a team.
- Proven ability to deliver results against KPIs, targets and service levels.
- Experience setting and managing performance objectives.
- Strong coaching, mentoring and people development skills.
- Experience analysing performance data and driving improvements.
