We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Case Handler to join our Operations team and play a key role in managing medical legal claims and delivering outstanding service to our clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Case Handler, you will be responsible for progressing medical legal claims from instruction through to report delivery, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and in line with service level agreements.
- Managing and progressing medical legal cases to agreed deadlines.
- Liaising with injured parties, solicitors, medical experts and clients.
- Booking medical appointments, ensuring convenience and accessibility for customers.
- Providing customers with clear information regarding appointment availability, waiting times and report turnaround times.
- Ensuring medical experts receive all relevant documentation to produce court-ready reports.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Monitoring case progress and ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Working towards individual and team performance targets.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
- Escalating complex cases or issues where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Confidence working with systems and databases.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience within a case handling, administration, claims, legal support, healthcare administration or customer service environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
