About the Role

As a Medical Records Nurse Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing medical records and providing clinical assessments in relation to potential clinical negligence claims. Working closely with Case Handlers, you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate the strength of claims, summarise key events, and identify any missing or inconsistent information. • Identify missing medical records and highlight and discuss inconsistencies in the information and instructions provided with the client.
  • Prepare medical records for chronology and pagination, by identifying and summarising relevant information.
  • Manage patient cases in line with Pagin8 service standards, ensuring cases are dealt with within the agreed timeframe, being proactive with regards to seeking clarification from the client where required.
  • Provide clinical support and assistance to the team.
  • Answer internal and external queries relating to pagination services accurately and in a professional, polite and friendly manner.
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality of your own work to ensure the Pagin8 service exceeds client expectations, highlighting any personal training requirements directly to your Line Manager.
  • Undertake clinical checks for quality purposes on reports received from medical experts within our Medico Legal department and provide feedback where relevant.
