We’re looking for two dedicated Complex Care Assistants to support two inspiring 22-year-old wheelchair users (one male, one female) living with Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia in their family home in Aylesbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on complex care, meaningful support, and being an active, valued part of a close-knit support team.
About The Clients
- Aged 22 – young, social, and responsive to positive, chatty support.
- Wheelchair users.
- Non-verbal.
- Diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia.
- Enjoy engaging interaction, inclusion, and carers who bring good energy.
- Family-led environment with dogs in the home.
- Home includes a waist-deep hydrotherapy pool.
Care Duties Include
- PEG feeding.
- Medication administration.
- Oxygen administration.
- Manual handling.
- Personal care.
- Bowel movement management.
- Hydrotherapy support.
Essential Requirements
- Full right to work in the UK (our client is unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship for this role).
- A minimum of 12 months recent UK care experience (Complex Care preferred).
- PEG feeding and medication experience (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential, due to remote location).
- Confident in water to support hydro-therapy pool activities.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to start the position on 1st June 2026.
