Were working with a leading compliance services provider who are looking to add a Water Hygiene Technician to their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that invests heavily in its people giving you the training, equipment, and support you need to do the job properly.

The Role

As a Water Hygiene Technician, youll be carrying out a full range of compliance-based tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, working across commercial, healthcare, and industrial sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Temperature monitoring and accurate reporting
  • Showerhead and tap cleaning/descaling
  • Expansion vessel flushing
  • Internal inspections of cold-water tanks and calorifiers
  • Calorifier blow downs
  • Microbiological sampling
  • TMV removal, servicing and failsafe testing
  • Cold Water Storage Tank cleans and system disinfections
  • Mains injection disinfections

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Logbook review & compliance reporting
  • Legionella risk assessments on hot & cold-water systems
  • CAD schematics (AutoCAD)

About You

Were looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is well-presented, and represents the business professionally at all times. You should be IT literate with excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.

This role is physically demanding at times, with restricted access, heavy lifting, and confined space work involved (training will be provided).

Requirements:

  • 2+ years water hygiene experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel & stay away as required
