I'm currently working with one of my long-standing, highly respected clients, who are on the lookout for a talented Water Hygiene Service Technician to join their expanding team. What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out water hygiene and water treatment control measures in line with industry best practices (L8, HSG274, BG29/BG50, HTM 04-01).
  • Performing on-site risk assessments, completing reports, and delivering high-quality service across all jobs.
  • Working closely with clients, site managers and internal teams to maintain the highest standards in compliance and service.
  • Taking a proactive approach to safety, vehicle maintenance, and personal responsibility on every project.
  • Acting as a trusted representative for the company – upholding their reputation and looking out for new business opportunities on-site.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in water hygiene, treatment, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 2 & 3, and ideally HTM.04.01.
  • Comfortable interpreting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Confident communicator with a good standard of written and verbal English.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence – this role involves travel to client sites.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Water Management Society (WMS) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Confined spaces, working at height, asbestos awareness, or COSHH training.
  • Experience working in facilities maintenance, healthcare, or public sector environments.
