Labourer (Enhanced DBS Required) Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear Duration: 2–3 Weeks Hours: 8 Hours Per Day (Monday–Friday) Start Date: ASAP Rate: Competitive (DOE) Labourer – Enhanced DBS Essential Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Labourer to work on behalf of one of our clients on a school refurbishment project in Washington, Tyne & Wear. This is an immediate start, with work expected to last 2–3 weeks. The Role Working as part of the site team, your duties will include: * Assisting with strip-out and demolition works. * Removing fixtures, fittings and building materials. * Loading and disposing of waste materials safely. * Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe at all times. * Assisting tradespeople as required. * Following all site health & safety procedures. * Carrying out general labouring duties throughout the project. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: * A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential) – due to work taking place within a live school environment. * Previous experience carrying out strip-out and demolition work. * A valid CSCS Card (preferred/essential if required by the client). * Full PPE. * A strong work ethic and reliable attendance. * The ability to start immediately.
