About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a skilled Ventilation Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing organisation delivering compliance, mechanical, and energy services across the UK. This field-based role focuses on the social housing sector, offering long-term stability, career progression, and the opportunity to work with modern ventilation and HVAC systems.
This position would suit an experienced Service Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in ventilation systems, fault finding, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair ventilation and HVAC systems across residential properties
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and system performance checks
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with tenants and clients
- Complete job reports, compliance paperwork, and digital records accurately
Requirements:
- ACS qualifications or relevant HVAC / ventilation certifications
- Experience as a Ventilation Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Service Engineer
- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
- Experience in social housing or domestic environments (desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
