Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Stowmarket area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.

The Role:

  • Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
  • Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
  • Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
  • ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
  • OFTEC (Oil) Qualified
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  • Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 per annum
  • Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
  • Monthly bonus
  • OTE £50,000+ per annum
